One superfun bonus during our Hilton Head trip was that the Laughlins (Matt, Kadie, Reid and Everett above) drove down for a morning at the beach. Luke was completely thrilled to have his old friend back in the mix.

As for the photo above, I learned a fantastically useful tip for taking pictures of antsy 3 year-old boys at the beach. Literally draw a line in the sand, tell them to line up behind it and prepare to race each other. You're set! Take as many pictures as you need while you draw out the countdown. (Of course, my favorite of the set ended up being the shot above after I said "go!")
