The stock photo bros.

Our friend Vicki (Grace and Caroline's mom) sent the above photo with the following explanation:

People at work are always asking to see recent pictures of the girls. And since I travel between 2 elementary schools and my own department, I often forget who I have shown recent pictures to and who I haven't. Well anyway, last year one of the secretaries at Timber Ridge Elementary School asked me one day for some pictures - I had none but remembered that Caroline was featured in the "Picture of the Day" - I think it was the one of she and Silas at the Mt Paran Church park. So I told her that although I didn't have any photos with me she could see a new photo on your website. Well I had no idea that she visits your website on a regular basis - she said she loves the pictures even though she doesn't know the children - except when Grace or Caroline happen to be in the picture.

And the reason I know that she visits your website is because when I walked into work on Monday morning, I was greeted by a picture of Luke and Silas - I really did stop in my tracks and of course thought it was funny - I hope you guys do, too!

I forwarded along the original after Vicki followed up saying that the secretaries "have had such positive/funny feedback on the picture and caption that they want a parent volunteer to blow it up and laminate it!" Hi, Timber Ridge! Glad you're enjoying the site!

Love the web photos! I can't imagine how much time it takes to upload all these photos let alone, take them. You are giving your children such a rich history and treasure.

We now have the photo laminated and and posted at the lunch box drop and parents and children alike get a chuckle every time they see it. Thank you for contributing to our great school!
