Curious George was his third big screen feature, and his second that he made it all the way through (he saw Madagascar last summer and was done after 45 minutes, made it all the way through Chicken Little a month ago). Here's the thing I couldn't figure out: while he had, by far, the greatest attention span in the theater-full of kids, his expressionless face throughout the thing would lead you to believe he'd been taken to some dry art-house picture. The rest of the kids (all seemingly age 3 and up) were laughing uproariously at every monkey move; Luke sat there and commentated the most outlandish acts in monotone: "The man is trying to find the monkey." "The monkey is making a mess."

So I'm not sure what the deal is. Is kiddie comedy not get-able yet? Or is Luke actually just a step beyond such juvenile fare? I mean I didn't think it was very funny -- and Will Ferrell was the man in the yellow hat!
